Your Town & Country, equipped with this system, is not only versatile, it is capable of detecting most obstacles in the path of a closing lift-gate or door and will automatically stop and reverse the power-closing operation.
Trailer Tow Prep Group. Take your largest toys on the road with Town & Country's 3,600-lb towing capacity and this available package. Includes engine oil cooling, heavy-duty transmission cooling, heavy-duty engine cooling, heavy-duty radiator, trailer tow wiring harness, and load leveling and height-control suspension. (Hitch receiver and trailering accessories available as Authentic Chrysler Accessories by Mopar.)
Power outlets. Plug in your favorite appliance, from a blender to a laptop. Standard 12V DC power outlets are located in the instrument panel and rear-quarter trim panel. For added convenience, a 115V inverter with auxiliary outlets is located in the front of the driver-side quarter trim panel. It is standard equipment on both Town & Country Limited and Touring and is available as part of the Entertainment Group 1 package for Town & Country LX.

Safety and Security
Air bags. Standard advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags provide nearly instantaneous front-seat occupant impact protection by matching air bag output to crash severity. Standard supplemental side-curtain air bags with roll-sensing technology deploy from the headliner to provide three rows of side-impact protection to all outboard passengers. This technology also keeps these air bags deployed longer in the event of a rollover.
Integrated second-row booster seats. These ingenious child booster seats fold up from the second-row seat to maximize convenience and eliminate the extra bulk and clutter of separate aftermarket child booster seats. Available in the Swivel 'n Go® seating and storage configuration.
Blind Spot Detection System (BSD). While traveling in forward gears, this system activates a visual warning to drivers that another vehicle is beside them. BSD includes the Rear Cross Path System (RCP) that warns the driver of traffic moving toward his/her vehicle with an illuminated icon in the side-view mirrors and an audible chime. It activates any time your vehicle is in Reverse and is exclusive to Chrysler minivans.
ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System. Available ParkSense uses audio and visual warnings to assist drivers during reverse parking maneuvers to avoid colliding with most large stationary objects.
ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera. This available rear-view camera system displays an accurate visual reference of what is behind your vehicle when you are driving in reverse.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This standard feature continuously checks air pressure in the tires and sends a warning when appropriate.
Sliding Door Alert System. Standard on all manual and power sliding doors, this system warns other drivers by flashing Town & Country's exterior lamps when passengers are entering or exiting the vehicle (feature must be activated).
SmartBeam Intelligent Headlamps. For optimum nighttime visibility, Town & Country's available headlamps automatically adjust intensity.
Rain-Sensing Wipers. Another available feature that improves visibility. Rain-sensing wipers adjust automatically for your vehicle speed and the amount of precipitation encountered.
Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicle at all times, ESP uses the collective technologies of Brake Assist, all-speed traction control, and an anti-lock brake system (ABS) to constantly monitor the driver's input against the vehicle's actual course. If needed, ESP will attempt to correct the vehicle's course by automatically applying the brake and/or reducing engine torque. If necessary, engine power is
reduced and braking is applied to help stabilize the vehicle.
Sentry Key® Theft-Deterrent System. This practical security feature comes standard and helps deter vehicle theft by making it virtually impossible to start the engine without possession of a properly encoded key.
Flashlight. The available dual purpose LED light is located in the rear cargo area and is designed to be easily removable, easily portable, and rechargeable.
